Architecture Preview


1. Who is the architect (the person who built it)? André Waterkeyn
2. When was it built? 1958

3. Where is it located? Belgium
4. Is it a private building or can you visit it? It was closed for the public for renovation, but it was opened back up.
5. Is there information on how much it cost to build? No it didn't
6. Is there a reason the building was created or the history of the building itself? It was supposed to be used for a World fair.

7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question) This building was one of the buildings that definitely stood out to me. I like how at first it was a fair but they innovated it into a museum. It looks so cool the way that the building is standing.

4. Is it a private building or can you visit it? Yes you can visit it
5. Is there information on how much it cost to build? No it didn't
6. Is there a reason the building was created or the history of the building itself? It was built to be a health resort.
7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question) This building also really stood out to me because of its unique structure. It looks like it couldn't a health resort but it is. It makes me wonder how it could actually be built.

6. Is there a reason the building was created or the history of the building itself? It was built to be a library
7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question) This looks so cool because it is an actual library that is surrounded by books! It is such a unique building and it looks amazing

6. Is there a reason the building was created or the history of the building itself? It was built for investments in bankings.
7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question) This building looks so col and unique with all the buildings looking as if they are stacked on top of each other. The overall design is beautiful and very interesting.

3. Where is it located? United Kingdom
4. Is it a private building or can you visit it? It is public
5. Is there information on how much it cost to build? no
6. Is there a reason the building was created or the history of the building itself? It contains plants from all around the world.
7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question) This building looks so unique because it looks like a bunch of bumble bee hives that are clear. Its so cool that there are cool plants inside the eden project.
