The Camera

1.  The camera obsurca effect was an effect that was used as the first camera. camera obsurca in Latin means dark room. It was achieved by putting a hole through the wall and the hole acts like a lens and it projects light onto the wall in the dark room.
2.  In the 17th century Isaac Newton and Christian Huygene invented the high quality glass lenses that came one step closer to the modern camera.
3.  The parts of the first modern camera by Niepce were a dark box, a film and glass lenses.
4.  The modern camera and the digital camera both have a glass lens and a film.
5. The digital cameras use an electric sensor called a CCD to capture images.
6. In Program mode you control the flash and camera settings but auto mode does it all for you.
7. It is used to take pictures of people and it works by trying to blur out the background.
8. The sports mode is used for freeze motion and it uses the highest shutter speed as much as possible.
9.A half press on the trigger button will focus on the picture.
10. The symbol means to disable the flash and you use it when it isn't dark outside.
11.This symbol means auto flash  it is used when it is dark outside because there is not a lot of light.
12. If there is too much light the picture will come out looking washed out.
13. Not enough light in the picture will come out looking way too dark.
14. A stop is a relative change in brightness and light.
15. It would be one time the stop with two suns.
16. It would be two times the stop with four suns.
17. With a longer shutter speed it gives way more light.
18. With a shorter shutter speed it doesn't give off much light.
19. The aperture controls the light.
20. It opens it up to let the light through.
